manufacturing plant in Timi\u0219oara, SANU VENT designed and built a complete ventilation system for the area where electronic components are printed and tested.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The solution was designed to efficiently exhaust contaminated air generated during technological processes and to introduce fresh air into the workspace in a controlled manner.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By balancing the exhaust flow with an appropriate supply of air, the system helps maintain stable conditions in the production area, protect personnel, and ensure the smooth operation of the printing and testing processes.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-pdfemb-pdf-embedder-viewer\"><a data-toolbar-fixed=\"off\">Desen-instalatie17<\/a><\/div>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">General System Configuration<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The facility consists of two independent systems that operate in a complementary manner:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>a system for extracting and filtering contaminated air;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a system for introducing fresh air and compensating for exhaust airflow.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This configuration allows for the control of airflow and helps maintain the proper balance in the production area.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1\ufe0f\u20e3 Suction and Filtration System<\/h2>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Galvanized steel piping system<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The exhaust system includes a network of galvanized steel pipes designed to transport contaminated air to the outdoor filtration unit.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ductwork was configured to serve directly the points where vapors and contaminants are generated, reducing their dispersion in the work area.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Suction hose connected directly to the printer<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the intake points is a connection that is directly linked to the printing equipment.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With this solution, contaminated air is captured as close as possible to the source of contamination, before it disperses into the production area.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Direct capture helps increase the plant&#8217;s efficiency and protect operators working near the equipment.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Range hood mounted above the test table<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An exhaust hood was installed in the electronic components testing area, positioned above the workbench.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The hood captures contaminated air and vapors generated during testing operations and directs them to the exhaust system.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Its positioning helps limit the accumulation of contaminants in the operators&#8217; breathing zone.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Activated carbon filter<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the roof of the hall, the system is equipped with an activated carbon filtration unit mounted on a metal frame.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The filter is equipped with <strong>four filter cartridges<\/strong> designed to capture the compounds and vapors carried by the exhaust airflow.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Activated carbon captures contaminants through adsorption, helping to reduce their concentration before the air is vented outdoors.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4 kW exhaust fan<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Air circulation in the exhaust system is provided by a fan with an installed power of <strong>4 kW<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The fan was sized to compensate for pressure losses in the piping and the filtration unit, maintaining a constant suction flow at the two intake points.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2\ufe0f\u20e3 Fresh Air Intake System<\/h2>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Galvanized steel piping<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The air intake system consists of a separate network of galvanized steel pipes.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It transports filtered air from outside to the printing and testing area, compensating for the airflow removed by the exhaust system.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eight discharge grilles<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fresh air is distributed throughout the production area via <strong>eight supply grilles<\/strong> located at ceiling level.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The placement and number of grilles ensure uniform air distribution and reduce the occurrence of strong localized drafts in the operators&#8217; area.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With this solution, the supplied air is distributed in a controlled manner across the entire area served by the system.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Intake Air Filter<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Air drawn in from outside passes through a dedicated filter before being introduced into the production hall.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This step helps maintain air quality and protect the process area from contaminants originating from outside.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1.1 kW axial fan<\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The intake and circulation of fresh air are provided by a <strong>1.1-kW<\/strong> axial fan installed on the roof of the hall.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The fan is sized to provide the airflow needed to compensate for the exhaust air and to maintain balanced air circulation in the workspace.<\/p>\n\n<h2 management in the printing and testing area.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The installation contributes to:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>capturing contaminated air directly from the printing equipment;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>venting the vapors generated in the test bench area;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>air filtration through an activated carbon unit;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>controlled introduction of fresh air;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>compensation for the discharged flow;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>uniform air distribution through eight air outlets;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>improving air quality in the production area;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>protecting operators;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>maintaining the conditions necessary for technological processes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Outcome of the project<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through this project, SANU VENT delivered a complete ventilation system, consisting of an exhaust and filtration system and a separate system for supplying fresh air.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The intake connection directly connected to the printer, the hood positioned above the test bench, the filter with four activated carbon cartridges, the 4-kW exhaust fan, and the intake system with eight grilles and a 1.1-kW axial fan form a system tailored to the specific requirements of the production process.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The result is a safer work environment, better air quality, and more stable electronic component printing and testing processes.<\/p>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator
