Low, medium, and high pressure – for air with dust and particles

The centrifugal fans in the GGM series, produced by SA NU VENT, are designed for extracting air laden with dust and suspended materials, offering consistent performance and durability in demanding industrial environments.

Through their robust and efficient construction, these fans combine high efficiency (due to the impeller with curved blades and special profile) with a smooth power curve, which prevents motor overload even at maximum flow.

Industrial applications

GGM centrifugal fans are used in multiple fields:

Wood industry – transport of sawdust, shavings, wood dust;
Mechanical industry – extraction of smoke, dust from deburring and metal polishing;
Cement and ceramics industry – pneumatic transport of powders;
Food industry – milling, baking, handling dry products;
Textile and chemical industry – exhausting harmful air with low or medium pressure.

These devices are recommended in all applications where capturing and transporting contaminated air is required, with working temperatures up to 80°C (with constructive options for higher temperatures).

Construction and technical characteristics

Casing: OL 37 steel sheet welded and structurally reinforced;
Impeller: curved blades, welded and dynamically balanced;
Motor base: made of OL 37 profiled sheet, fixed to the casing;
Suction and discharge ports: according to DIN 24154–24158, series 4 standards;
Motor: three-phase or single-phase asynchronous, with external ventilation, IP 54 protection, B3 form, according to UNEL–MEC standards.

The fans are manufactured according to EUROVENT international standards, available in 16 discharge positions – 8 clockwise (RD) and 8 counterclockwise (LG).

Performance and acoustics

Tests performed at 20°C and barometric pressure of 750 mm/Hg confirm a constant air flow and high efficiency, even in intense industrial conditions.
The noise level is measured according to the A (dB/A) scale at a distance of 1.5 m in free field, with the fan connected to the suction duct, in compliance with industrial acoustic standards.
