GGT Series – 4 Pole | For pneumatic transport of particles and industrial dust

The centrifugal fans in the GGT series, manufactured by SA NU VENT, are equipped with open impeller turbines, specifically designed for the suction and transport of air laden with solid particles, dust, or suspended materials.

With their robust and balanced construction, these devices ensure high efficiency, stability, and durability in the most demanding industrial applications.

Industrial applications

The GGT series is intended for exhaust and pneumatic transport systems in dusty environments, with extensive uses in:

Wood industry – transport and exhaust of sawdust, shavings, and wood dust;
Bookbinding – elimination of fine debris and paper dust;
Paper mills – evacuation of light materials and fibers;
Special applications – where conventional fans cannot maintain optimal performance due to high dust loading.

GGT fans are designed for transporting dusty air up to 80°C, with the option of constructive modifications for higher temperatures.

Construction and technical characteristics

Casing: made of OL 37 steel sheet, welded and structurally stiffened;
Turbine: with open impellers made of OL 37 steel, welded and dynamically balanced;
Motor support: made of OL 37 metal profiles, fixed to the fan casing;
Suction and discharge ports: conforming to DIN 24154–24158, series 3 standards;
Manufacturing standard: according to international EUROVENT standards;
Discharge positioning: available in 16 variants – 8 clockwise (RD) and 8 counterclockwise (LG), viewed with the fan facing away from the motor.

The GGT – 4 pole series fans offer a reduced rotation speed, which contributes to lower noise levels and an extended lifespan of bearings and internal components.

Motor and performance

Equipped with three-phase asynchronous motors, closed construction, external ventilation, IP 54 protection, B3 form, according to UNEL–MEC (IEC–DIN 42673) standards, GGT fans guarantee safe and reliable operation.
Thanks to the stable power curve and high turbine efficiency, the GGT series is suitable for continuous operation in demanding industrial applications.

Flow rate, pressure, and acoustic level

Tests are carried out at 20°C, barometric pressure of 750 mmHg, with air density of 1.205 kg/m³.
Noise levels are measured in a free field, at a distance of 1.5 m, for the fan at maximum flow rate, connected to the suction duct.
Result: efficient ventilation, silent operation, and minimal wear.
