GGS Series Centrifugal Fans

Low and medium pressure – for very dusty air and demanding industrial applications

The GGS series centrifugal fans, manufactured by SA NU VENT, are designed for the extraction and transport of very dusty air, containing particles and suspended materials.

Thanks to the open impeller, these devices operate optimally in environments where conventional fans cannot maintain stable pressure and flow parameters.

Industrial applications

GGS fans are ideal for demanding applications such as:

Wood industry – extraction of sawdust, shavings, and wood dust;
Bookbinders and paper mills – removal of dust and fine debris;
Light material processing – pneumatic transport and evacuation of suspended particles;
Special applications – areas with a high degree of dust, where continuous and reliable extraction is required.

The GGS series is intended exclusively for the transport of dusty air, with temperatures up to 80°C, offering high efficiency and durability.

Construction and technical characteristics

Casing: made of OL 37 steel sheet, welded and reinforced for structural resistance;
Impeller: open blades made of OL 37 steel, welded and dynamically balanced for operational stability;
Motor support: OL 37 metal profile fixed to the fan casing;
Suction and discharge ports: conforming to DIN 24154–24158, series 3 standards;
Manufacturing standard: according to international EUROVENT standards;
Discharge positioning: available in 16 variants – 8 with clockwise rotation (RD) and 8 with counterclockwise rotation (LG), viewed with the fan facing the motor.

Motor and performance

GGS centrifugal fans are equipped with three-phase asynchronous motors, closed construction, external ventilation, IP 54 protection, B3 form, compliant with UNEL–MEC standards.
They are designed to maintain a constant airflow and a stable power curve, preventing motor overload and ensuring superior energy efficiency.

Flow rate, pressure, and acoustic level

Performances are measured at 20°C, barometric pressure 760 mmHg and air density 1.205 kg/m³.
The values of sound pressure (dB/A) are determined in free field, at a distance of 1.5 m, for the fan operating at maximum flow and connected to the suction duct.
