🔹 General description
For this beneficiary in Argeș county, Sanu Vent designed and implemented a system for capturing and filtering the dust resulting from the sponge cutting process. The installation was designed to ensure an efficient extraction of the particles generated during the technological process, contributing to maintain a cleaner, safer working environment in compliance with labor and environmental protection requirements.
The technical solution aims at capturing the source of pollution directly from the machine area, transporting the particle-laden air through a correctly dimensioned network of piping and efficiently separating the dust using a high-performance filtering system with automatic self-cleaning.
🔹 Main installation components
1️⃣ Mixed rigid and flexible piping network
The installation consists of a galvanized sheet metal piping network designed to ensure minimal pressure loss and uniform airflow distribution. Rigid trunking provides strength and stability to the entire system, while flexible connections mounted in the area of the cutting equipment allow for adaptability in operation and reduce vibration transmission.
2️⃣ Capture points located on cutting machines
The system is designed to efficiently capture particles right in the dust generation area. By correctly positioning the suction points, the installation limits the dispersion of dust in the production space and helps to protect personnel and equipment.
3️⃣ Filter unit with pneumatic self-cleaning pulse-jet
The filter unit is equipped with an automatic regeneration system of the filter elements by controlled pulses of compressed air. This pulse-jet self-cleaning system allows high filtration efficiency to be maintained in continuous operation, reduces the need for maintenance and prolongs the service life of the filter components.
4️⃣ High Efficiency Centrifugal Fan
The integrated centrifugal fan has been selected to provide the required airflow at the appropriate pressure to compensate for system losses and ensure constant suction at all pick-up points. The assembly is optimized for reliable operation, low noise and good energy efficiency.
