⚙️ Section 1 – Grinding and Polishing Area
Extraction and filtration system for aluminum filings and dust + system for introducing fresh filtered air
🔹 General description
For the efficient capture of filings and metallic dust generated during finishing processes (grinding, polishing, deburring, etc.), Sanu Vent designed and implemented a centralized extraction and filtration system, complemented by a fresh filtered air introduction system to compensate for the evacuated flow.
The solution guarantees a safe and clean working environment, complying with fire safety and environmental protection standards.
🔹 Aluminum Dust Extraction and Filtration System
Components:
- Extraction tables located at each workstation for local capture of suspended particles;
- Extraction ductwork made of galvanized sheet metal;
- Separation cyclones for solid particles, equipped with metering valves for controlled discharge of metallic filings;
- Centrifugal fans dimensioned to ensure optimal air flow and transport of dust to the filtration systems.
🔹 Filtered Air Introduction System (Compensation Air)
Components:
- Air filter for purifying the admitted atmospheric air;
- Centrifugal fans dedicated to introducing fresh air into the production area;
- Distribution ductwork made of galvanized sheet metal, equipped with grilles and diffusers for uniform distribution of filtered air.
Functions and benefits:
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment;
- Preventing the accumulation of flammable dust and reducing the risk of fire/explosion;
- Balancing air pressure in production areas;
- Compliance with occupational health and environmental protection standards.
⚙️ Section 2 – Aluminum Foundry
Extraction, filtration, and energy recovery system for flue gases from melting furnaces
🔹 General description
To optimize the aluminum melting process and protect the environment, Sanu Vent implemented a complex system for capturing, filtering, and recovering energy from flue gases.
The system has a dual role:
- treating flue gases before discharge into the atmosphere;
- recovering heat and using it for heating the industrial hall during the cold season.
🔹 System components
1️⃣ Stainless steel ductwork
- Made of stainless steel resistant to high temperatures and corrosion;
- Transports flue gases from the furnaces to the filtration and recovery equipment.
2️⃣ Centrifugal fan
- Ensures forced extraction and conveyance of flue gases;
- Designed to withstand high temperatures and large volumes of air.
3️⃣ Tubular heat exchanger (recuperator)
- Allows heat transfer between hot gases and fresh air intake, without direct contact;
- The heated air is redirected to heat the hall, contributing to the energy efficiency of the process.
4️⃣ Scrubber (gas scrubber)
- Retains solid particles, metallic vapors, and harmful oxides;
- Reduces pollutant emissions before discharge, ensuring compliance with environmental standards.

🔹 Integrated solutions offered by Sanu Vent
Both systems — for finishing and foundry — were completely realized by Sanu Vent, including:
- technical design and equipment sizing;
- manufacturing and installation of ductwork, filters, and fans;
- commissioning and verification of efficiency parameters.
The Oradea project demonstrates Sanu Vent’s ability to provide complex industrial solutions that combine technical performance with environmental protection.
