🔹 General description
For this beneficiary in Hunedoara county, Sanu Vent has designed and implemented two dedicated capture and filtration systems, adapted to different but essential technological processes in the production flow: CNC laser cutting of aluminum and painting processes.
The technical solutions have been sized to ensure effective capture of dust, fumes and fine particles generated during manufacturing processes in order to maintain a safe, clean working environment that complies with occupational and environmental protection requirements.
1️⃣ Capture and filtration system for aluminum laser cutting processes
For the CNC laser cutting technology flow, Sanu Vent has designed and installed an advanced extraction and filtration system, sized to efficiently manage the aluminum powders in suspension and the smoke emissions resulting from the cutting process.
🔹 Main components of the system
Galvanized steel tubing
The tubing network is made of galvanized steel and has been hydraulically optimized to maintain the correct particle-laden air transport parameters. The routing configuration has been designed to minimize the risk of deposits and ensure efficient extraction directly at the source.
Pulse-Jet Cartridge and Self-Cleaning Filter Unit
The filtration system is equipped with cartridge filters and an automatic pneumatic self-cleaning Pulse-Jet mechanism. This allows periodic regeneration of the filter elements by controlled pulses of compressed air, maintaining a constant pressure drop and contributing to extended filter life.
Controlled residue management
For the safe discharge of the collected powders, the plant includes a dosing sluice that allows controlled discharge of the residues. This solution reduces the risk of re-entrainment of particles in the air stream and supports stable operation of the whole assembly.
High-efficiency centrifugal fan
The fan assembly has been calculated to provide the flow rate and conveying velocity required for efficient source capture. The centrifugal fan used offers reliable operation, good efficiency and adaptation to the specific requirements of the laser cutting process.

By implementing this installation, the beneficiary obtains an efficient extraction of the noxes and dusts generated during the aluminum flow, contributing to the protection of the operators, to the cleanliness of the working area and to the reduction of the impact on the equipment and the technological process.
2️⃣ Capture and filtration system for paint process dust
To manage excess paint and the resulting particles in the paint booths, Sanu Vent has designed and installed a filtration unit capable of handling high air flows and high dust concentrations, ensuring a safe and efficient working regime.
🔹 Main components of the system
Centrifugal Cyclone Centrifugal Cyclone Precleaning
In the first stage, the particle-laden air is directed into a cyclone, which achieves a primary separation of coarse particles by centrifugal force. This stage reduces fine filter loading, protects the main filter system and reduces the frequency of maintenance interventions.
Cartridge filtration unit and pneumatic self-cleaning
After pre-cleaning, the pre-cleaned air passes through a cartridge filtration unit designed to retain microparticles. The system is equipped with Pulse-Jet pneumatic self-cleaning technology, which utilizes counter-current jets of compressed air to maintain the permeability of the filter elements without stopping the production process.
Galvanized sheet metal tubing
The air conveying network is made of galvanized sheet metal tubing, sealed and sized to maintain the critical conveying velocity. This is essential in order to avoid sedimentation of powders on the route and to maintain the efficiency of the plant in continuous operation.
Centrifugal Fan Unit
The dynamically balanced centrifugal fan is sized to provide the required static pressure for the entire filter assembly. It contributes to the stability of the airflow and the smooth operation of the system under high load conditions.

With this solution, the customer can effectively control dusts and particles from painting processes, reducing deposits in the work area, protecting equipment and helping to maintain optimal production conditions.
Outcome of the project
Through the implementation of these two complementary systems, Sanu Vent delivered to the Hunedoara County beneficiary an integrated technical solution for the capture and filtration of noxes and dusts generated in two important production stages: laser cutting of aluminum and painting.
The result is a safer working environment, cleaner operation of technological premises and efficient operation of industrial processes, with a focus on reliability, performance and optimized maintenance.
