Dust and textile waste extraction system for the footwear manufacturing line

Sanu Vent Project – Alibunar, Serbia

🔹 General description

In a footwear factory in Alibunar, Serbia, Sanu Vent designed and implemented a centralized dust and textile waste extraction and filtration system, intended to capture contaminated air resulting during the cutting, grinding, finishing, and assembly processes.
The system ensures a clean working environment, protects the health of operators, and contributes to reducing dust emissions into the atmosphere.


🔹 System components

1️⃣ Galvanized sheet metal ductwork

Network of pipes dimensioned to collect dust and textile waste from all work areas.
The ductwork is made of high-quality galvanized sheet metal, ensuring durability, tightness, and corrosion resistance.

2️⃣ Filter station with polyester cartridges

High-efficiency filtration system, equipped with:

  • polyester cartridges for retaining fine particles and textile dust;
  • automatic compressed air cleaning system (pulse jet) for periodic regeneration of the cartridges;
  • two screw conveyors and two rotary valves for controlled discharge of the filtered material.
    This configuration ensures continuous operation and an extended service life of the equipment.

3️⃣ Centrifugal fan

Robust equipment, dimensioned to circulate the extracted air throughout the installation, maintaining a constant flow rate and maximum capture efficiency at each workstation.
