Dust and textile waste extraction system for the footwear manufacturing line

Sanu Vent Project – Timișoara, Timiș County

🔹 General description

To ensure a clean working environment and reduce dust and textile particle emissions into the atmosphere, the shoe production line in Timișoara was equipped with a centralized extraction system, manufactured by Sanu Vent.
The system is designed for capturing and filtering contaminated air resulting from the processes of cutting, grinding, finishing, and processing of textile and leather materials.

🔹 System components

1️⃣ Galvanized sheet metal ductwork

It ensures the collection of dust and textile waste from the work areas and their transport to the filtration system.

2️⃣ Two polyester bag filters

High-performance equipment for retaining fine dust and textile particles from the extracted air.
They are equipped with a mechanical shaking system by vibration, which allows automatic cleaning of the bags and maintains a high filtration efficiency and a long service life.

3️⃣ Centrifugal fan

Ensures the circulation of the extracted air throughout the installation, maintaining optimal flow and constant pressure in the system.

🔹 Purpose and benefits of the system

  • Improving air quality in production areas;
  • Protecting workers’ health and reducing exposure to fine dust;
  • Reducing the risk of fire and explosion due to the elimination of combustible dust;
  • Compliance with European standards and environmental legislation regarding emissions into the ambient air.

🔹 Integrated solutions offered by Sanu Vent

The project includes:

  • complete design of the extraction system;
  • manufacturing and installation of galvanized sheet metal ductwork;
  • integration of bag filters and centrifugal fan;
  • commissioning and testing of efficiency parameters.

The solution is adapted to the specifics of the footwear industry, guaranteeing a safe, clean, and energy-efficient working environment.
