🔹 General description

To capture and filter oil mists generated in the technological processes of threading, machining, lubrication, and heat treatments, Sanu Vent has implemented a high-performance industrial extraction and filtration system, tailored to the specific requirements of the metallurgical and mechanical industry.
The system ensures controlled exhaust of contaminated air, improving air quality and protecting the health of operators.


🔹 Main components of the system

1️⃣ Local capture hoods

  • Mounted above or near equipment that generates oil mists;
  • Ensures direct capture of contaminated air at the source, preventing its dispersion into the production area.

2️⃣ Galvanized sheet metal ductwork

  • Network of ducts designed for transporting polluted air to the filtration system;
  • Material resistant to condensation, oil, and corrosion, for long-lasting durability in industrial environments.

3️⃣ Labyrinth pre-filter (metallic)

  • Retains coarse particles and large oil droplets;
  • Protects the fine filters downstream, increasing overall efficiency and lifespan of the filtration system.

4️⃣ Mechanical filter for oil mists

  • Equipped with a metal spiral for centrifuging and separating oil droplets;
  • Includes three stages of fine filtration, which retain microscopic particles and residual vapors;
  • Ensures complete air purification before discharge or recirculation.

5️⃣ Centrifugal fan

  • Sized for the air flow required by the entire system;
  • Mounted after filtration to circulate clean air towards exhaust;
  • Ensures maximum efficiency and quiet operation.

6️⃣ Summer / winter by-pass system

  • Allows intelligent diversion of the air flow depending on the season:
    • Winter: filtered air is reintroduced into the workspace for heat recovery and energy savings;
    • Summer: air is completely exhausted to the outside, maintaining optimal temperature in the hall.

  • technical design of the capture and filtration system;
  • manufacturing and installation of the hood, ductwork, filters, and fan;
  • implementation of the by-pass system for air flow control;
  • performance testing and commissioning.
